So I got to work behind the computer and hunckered down to put more of my music online for you all to enjoy, share, comment, like etc.

I am booking live events for my band. That’s been going great!

The one and only Barbara Morrison (RIP) is the star of this video. We were very close & I loved being near her.

Shaking off the dust somehow preparing for who knows what?!

Like I said, making gigs with talented people I like has so lifted my spirit.

“Don’t know what you got ’til it gone” Thankfully the school program sponsored by Los Angeles Jazz Society & others sailed once again in 2023 after a no go in 2021 & 2022.

There’s a lot more going on. This is a taste. I’m feeling stronger, grateful, writing new original music, lots of exploring musical directions…& a bunch of real cool gigs!!

Got busy in November 2022 & beyond

Already the end of March 2023 & I’ve gotten so busy after 2&1/2 years of no
live music, no gatherings allowed!
I’m incredibly grateful for live music and
audiences happening again!

I’m so enjoying getting back to being with live bands, live audiences!!

In the Leslie Baker Trio video are bits and pieces of our performance at the Urban Press Winery, Burbank, CA.

Adjusting to whatever’s next, I feel a bit more global even if I stay home more than I used to.

Post……?? Past……..?? Pandemic?!???

It’s 2022 Major adjustments due to pandemic conditions are upon us,

are we through yet? Of course not. I am continuing to explore musical possibilities.

Finding new ways to make music from my home studio, I practice, write and produce . I use Logic to record at home and Dorico software for writing music.

Finding time and inspiration from 2 poems, I’ve turned poems into songs.

The 1st poem from a neighbor ROADMAP:

Something changed one starless night

The roadmap shifted before the light.

Perceptions, once we thought we knew

Suddenly are no longer true.

The talking heads argue why,

While people lie and children cry,

The heroes try, the unlucky die.

Reality shifts from place to place,

Unseen forces quicken the pace.

The road is forked, the signposts gone,

The future is looking grim.

As we seek to know the truth

In this changing paradigm.
